Hillsides of colorful flowers in Carson frame a setting looking down onto a housing track from Cal State Dominguez Hills. In the distance are the mountains of Rancho Palos Verdes and beyond them, the Pacific Ocean.

Carson is best known for its university and Home Depot Center which includes a 2,450 seat velodrome for world class cycling competitions, and home base for LA Galaxy Major League Soccer (MLS) team. The huge entertainment and sports venue features world class musical acts, soccer, futbol, and a variety of shows in an outdoor amphitheater seating thousands.

When driving through Carson on the San Diego Freeway (405) the most noticeable landmarks are the oil refineries and the landing field where you'll often spot the Goodyear Blimp, an icon for the region.

Carson's location not far from the beaches, Los Angeles International Airport, and 405 Freeway, all make it a preferred choice for living, and for commercial enterprises.

Getting there: From LAX drive south on San Diego Freeway (405). After you pass the interchange from 110 Harbor Freeway, you should exit the freeway and easily find your way to all that Carson has to offer.
