LONG BEACH, CALIF. — The top three things to see in Long Beach are the Aquarium of the Pacific, Queen Mary and the Pyramid. 

1.  Aquarium of the Pacific  is smaller than Monterey Bay Aquarium but was built by the same architects, and its exhibits, events and location are all spectacular. 2. The Pyramidat Cal State Long Beach is one of a handful of pyramids in the United States. Its color is a unique blue which stands out for miles. You can see it on Signal Hill, on the 405 Freeway and other places. There's a gym there and special events are hosted at the facility. Once you arrive, the only thing to do is SEE. It's a visual attraction, one of Long Beach's best.

3. Queen Maryis absolutely unique among its peers. When built in the 1930s it set the standard for luxury cruise ships. Its history as a cruise ship and service during WWII to move troops between Europe and the U.S. give it a story filled with character not seen in other luxury liners. Today it is a destination that serves as a hotel, fine dining, special events space, and unique annual events such as Scottish Festival, Dark Harbor Halloween, Easter and Thanksgiving Brunch and CHILL Winter Ice Kingdom.
