San Pedro is the home to the Port of Los Angeles. It also host the cruise port where dozens of cruise ships stop and start their journeys. Our favorite things to see in San Pedro are many. Here's just three:

1. Cabrillo Marine Aquarium: The unique aquarium at Cabrillo State Beach accepts donations but doesn't turn anyone away. It really is a fantastic place with the beach outside the door.

2. Harborfront: Fanfare, Ports o' Call, Los Angeles Maritime Museum and the replica Red Car train ride are part of this unique family-friendly day of shopping, dining, and entertainment which also includes harbor cruises.

3. Angels Gate: The Korean Friendship Bell, Fort MacArthur Museum, Point Fermin Lighthouse and Marine Mammal Care Center are a few of the attractions "on the hill". Take a stroll to see the spectacular vistas, and stick around during the summer for great concerts in the park, car shows, and many great events.
