They love their wine in Paso Robles and they love their food. Why? Many of the dishes include locally sourced ingredients, and of course, the award-winning wines made right there. It’s hard to fathom that macaroni and cheese would be a great paring with top flight wines, but as it happens, when you challenge 20 chefs to create recipes, the results are so fantastic that word spreads.
If you are passing through Paso the annual Paso Mac & Cheese Festival takes place on Saturday, August 24, 2013, at Le Vigne Winery. It includes a full afternoon of wine, beer, and a concert. Tickets may sell out and if they do, plan for next year instead. See: pasomacandcheesefest.com
