Each year on December 24 (Christmas Eve) Santa arrives in a flash, and then he’s gone. His white beard, rosy cheeks, and red velvet garb with black boots (over-the-top fireman’s attire) all make this endearing character the kind of person you wish would stick around your town, especially considering the fact that he brings gifts for all. There are 12 “Santa” cities in California where the Big Kahuna is fondly remembered and honored on a daily basis. Bay Area, Central Coast and Southern California cities with Santa in their name include:
