The curtain opens under starry skies in the outdoor canyon theatre, and all eyes are on the stage where actors do the most unusual thing–they don’t move. Their role is to become the subjects in famous paintings and blend into the work of art so the audience can’t distinguish them from the 3-D canvas on stage.
Children and adults each year volunteer, subjecting themselves to hours of make-up, preparation and practice for one of the most unique, must-see attractions on Earth–Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach. If you missed last year’s event, here is information on the 2013 event!
