Three special California festivals celebrate one of summer’s sweetest foods–corn! The state has it covered north & south and you are invited to shuck it, eat it and celebrate with song and dance in Brentwood, Sloughhouse and La Habra. For those who can’t get enough of that 4th of July spirit, Brentwood Cornfest launches their three day celebration with fireworks on Friday night. The corn will be sizzling on the grill and so will the fireworks show up in the air. Brentwood Cornfest takes place July 12-14, 2013. Davis Ranch Corn Festival in Sloughhouse takes place on July 13 &14. And to round out a fantastic summer of eating corn, La Habra Corn Festival brings it on home August 2-4, 2013. Here’s more information about California corn production.
