If you’re hungry for some fun, this weekend won’t disappoint. In Pismo Beach they’re eating clams at the annual Pismo Clam Festival. Right down the road a few miles in Guadalupe they’re having a Salad Bowl Festival (salad goes great with clams!) Springville is having the annual Apple Festival with plenty of mom’s apple pie, while Dairyville Orchard Festival happens in Los Molinos. Yummy.
For the sports nut who likes to eat sand, check out the final play-offs of the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) with the world’s top volleyball players in Huntington Beach. Down the road their next door neighbors in Seal Beach are hosting the Japan America Kite Festival on the beach, complete with Taiko Drummers. Check out the full list of festivals and events. Life is good in California!
