California’s beaches have had their day in the sun but now it’s time for the mountains to shine in all their glory. The snow has arrived at Lake Tahoe where the winter roster of events allows you to pick and choose when to go and what to do. SOUTH LAKE TAHOE 2013 EVENTS & ENTERTAINMENT
- Winter Ignite – Heavenly’s wild weeks of parties, concerts, giveaways November 29-December 9
- Porter Robinson at MontBleu November 30
- Lake Tahoe Festival of Trees & Lights at MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa December 5 – 8
- Tahoe Adventure Film Festival at MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa December 14
- Chubby Checker at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe December 21
- Heavenly Holiday at the Heavenly Village includes carolers, magicians, jugglers, live ice sculpture making, and a Ripperoo Parades December 21 – 31
- SnowGlobe Music Festival December 29 – 31
- New Year’s Eve at Tahoe South at the Heavenly Village. The evening is packed with world-class music, games, fireworks, and the world’s only Gondola Ball Drop. Entertainment includes an outdoor concert, ice sculpting performances, fire dancers, a photo booth and face painting. The party continues into the night at one of the many casino nightclubs December 31, 2013 – January 1, 2014.
