Each and every California maritime museum is special in its own way. There are battleship museums, ferry building museums, and charming collections of historic artifacts housed in buildings. One of the really cool museums with free admission on Jan. 20, 2014 for National Park Service Free Admission Day is San Francisco’s Maritime Museum.
