Whether you’re an actor, homeless, a victim, a hero, or have been abducted by aliens, there’s a story (whatever your situation) waiting to be written and only one way to get it out… write a book! You’ll witness the book’s popularity at the free admission LA Times Festival of Books April 12 & 13, 2014 on the USC campus in Los Angeles. From celebrity actors to celebrity chefs, kids’ authors, famous cartoon characters, poets and politicians, the event features something and a book for every interest under the sun. Around 150,000 people attend the two-day book extravaganza. Yes, it’s a little crowded, but it’s one of the best free things to see in the L.A. area this weekend. Note: Some of the special dinner shows and seminars charge a fee. See: http://events.latimes.com/festivalofbooks/
