Desert to Sea Trees

Some places to see glorious holiday trees as they are lit for the first time today, Dec. 5 include: Alhambra,  Alpine, Arcata, Atascadero, Banning, Bellflower, Benicia, Bishop, Bonita, Brentwood, Burlingame, Coronado, Cotati, Cupertino, Chico,  Irwindale, La Puente, , La Quinta, Lomita, Lompoc, Los Gatos, Martinez, Murphys, Oroville, Oxnard, Perris, Petaluma, Pismo Beach, Quincy, Redding, San Marino, San Pablo, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Solvang, Temple City, Twain Harte, Ventura, Woodland and Yreka!

  • MAMMOTH LAKES: The whole town is invited (Mammoth has snow!)  and asked to bring canned good donations. Stay warm around the many firepits, hear holiday music and enjoy hot beverages.
  • EL CENTRO: Seasonal Tree Lighting and Street Fair with music and festivities, plus craft activities for kids.
  • FOLSOM: Historic district features Tree Lighting near Ice Rink, free train rides and fun for all ages.
  • HAWAIIAN GARDENS: Celebrating 50 years in 2014, Santa makes a guest appearance.
  • EMERYVILLE: Tree Lighting is highlight to parade that ends at City Hall.
