Fairs Focus on Food

This week several fairs are back for their annual feasts of of fun, including celebrations of what California farmers do best — grow stuff! The Date Festival launches on Feb. 13, 2015 in Indio, as does the Cloverdale Citrus Fair on the same day. Another event, Imperial Mid-Winter Fair and Fiesta, opens its doors on Feb. 27. There’s a healthy dose of fairs to keep us entertained throughout the year, though eating everything a fair has to offer isn’t the best strategy for staying fit.

- MAY: Fairs in Angels Camp, Antioch, Chico, Chowchilla, Dixon, Garden Grove, King City, Orland, Porterville, Sacramento, San Benito & Victorville.
