Wine, Chocolate and Poems of Passion in Livermore
Shakespeare’s Associates, the producers of the popular Livermore Shakespeare Festival, are offering a Valentine’s treat at “Sonnet Cafe” this Valentine’s Weekend. Wine, Chocolate and Poems of Passion takes place at Dublin’s Heritage Park, see livermoreshakes.org for tickets. The talented and versatile actors participating in this event are also preparing for the summer, outdoor festival. In 2015 Livermore Shakespeare Festival is relocating to Wente Vineyards Estate Winery from Concannon Vineyard, shaking things up in a positive way. Wente is best known for its summer concert series which featured Chris Isaak, Wynonna & The Big Noise, Tony Bennett, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, Earth, Wind & Fire and The Beach Boys last year. 2015 concert acts will be announced soon, but the dates for Shakespeare’s romantic comedy, “As You Like It,” are set for July & August. It’s destined to be a sell-out.
