World Record Set at Knott’s Berry Farm

With a new World Record of 14.5 pounds of pie in 8 minutes Joey Chestnut (San Jose, Calif.) took home $4,000 and added another title to his 40 World Records across 40 food disciplines. His best known Major League Eating Hall of Fame title is for Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs. Chestnut’s record of eating 69 Hot Dogs & Buns in 10 Minutes on July 4, 2013 is the most anyone has ever eaten in the past 100 years of competition.
