No blues about it, Bluegrass is back in California!

I was feeling a kinda’ blue with the prospects that California’s bluegrass scene was dwindling in 2018, one festival at a time. That’s because the Huck Finn (Bluegrass) Jubilee pulled the plug in 2016 after serving up one of the nation’s biggest bluegrass shindigs for nearly 40 years. In its heyday it hosted top acts, had Huck Finn themed contests for kids and hosted the “Largest Bluegrass Jam in the World.”

Roll forward with the latest news — a husband-wife team who own an experiential marketing agency in L.A. are bluegrass fans. They purchased Huck Finn Jubilee, and are hosting a festival this fall, Oct. 5-7, at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park in Ontario. Yee-haw!

If you’re a fan of bluegrass and similar genres such as the Saw Festival in Felton (pictured) then you better clear your calendar for many weekends of toe-tapping entertainment.
