I’ve got to stop reading those British tabloids. Though they are incredibly entertaining, they can suck you into hours of clicking “news stories” that stretch the mind and imagination. Today something called “Metro” in the UK had two UFO stories listed:
Truth be known, I have always been a fan of the odd, strange and unusual stories the seem either too crazy to be true, or have no apparent explanation. California has no shortage of such stories.
According to Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), California is the hotbed of UFO sightings and always has been. From the Great Los Angeles Air Raid of 1942 to the Rex Heflin UFO sighting in Tustin, Calif., stories of unexplained aerial phenomena abound. (Some of my friends working for companies such as Boeing have had their very own UFO sightings to tell!)
This week, however, earthlings are invited to dress in their best alien outfits, build their own UFOs and compete by launching their vehicles from a bridge at Bridgeville’s BridgeFest Flying Saucer Contest!
