Someone from Hotel del Coronado recently emailed info about an upcoming event — the timing could not have been better! Summer came and went without any prospects of taking a break. No matter what life deals you and the fact that you can use lemons to make lemonade, people still need to get away.
When I get my chance to escape, the first place I’d like to visit is the Hotel del. Not only have I found comfort there through the decades at a place that feels like home, it turns out my family actually has a relationship with this beloved resort. One of my dad’s cousins who I never met worked at Hotel del Coronado for many years.
