In California Nobody Said Films Are Dead — Characters Will Have to Go, Though

As thoughts turn to Fall and Halloween screams, it’s time to begin plotting your Independent (Indie) film attendance. The batch of films produced on every topic this time of year include seasonal thrillers and return of Rocky Horror Picture Show annuals.

Although many have predicted the decline (and even death) of traditional film models, we’re not seeing much shrinkage in the Indie category. These low budget shorts and features offer endless opportunities for every day people to get in on the action. If you live in California and your city doesn’t have a film festival, it’s almost unusual. In fact, you can even start one!
