You never know how popular train rides are until you offer visitors the opportunity to ride a train with a Christmas theme, Santa on-board, and other experiences such as a licensed production of The Polar Express offered in Perris and Fillmore this year.

In fact, SeeCalifornia.com checks earlier & earlier each year (right after Halloween) and we discover that tickets are sold out to many attractions the day the go on sale in early November, or shortly thereafter. With that said, you probably won’t get to ride the Sacramento Polar Express Train at the California State Railroad Museum, the Polar Express Train at Jamestown’s Railtown 1897, Irvine Park Railroad Christmas Train in Orange, or Train of Lights in Sunol and Niles in 2019 if you are just now checking it out. However, there are some great train rides and Christmas experiences available if you know where to look. Just get booking ASAP or you may miss out!
