If pictures don’t tell the story of Timber Cove Inn (timbercoveinn.com), a 50 room hotel along the Sonoma Coast, then you’ll need to see it first hand. Sonoma County’s most popular oceanfront hotel located 15 miles beyond the mouth of the Russian River, recently made a few changes to upper management including a new owner, marketing team and appointment of Keith Hill as the new General Manager. We call it the A-Team.
Hill has traveled many roads in the world of hospitality, most recently as Operations Manager at Yosemite National Park’s internationally acclaimed Ahwahnee Hotel. Before that he worked at luxury destinations in Vermont and Rhode Island Hill, and each journey helped him gain appreciation for the needs of travelers. Driven by a passion for nature, he wants to share his enthusiasm for a coastal destination that doesn’t compare to any place he has ever been.
Timber Cove Inn is known for its unspoiled peaceful location and ocean view rooms. With some of the most interesting beaches to explore, Timber Cove exists on the portion of Highway 1 (known as Shoreline Highway in the region) overlooking the Pacific Ocean before it veers inland north of there, then reconnects with the Sonoma Coast at The Sea Ranch. Located in the town of Jenner approx. 2.5 hours from San Francisco or 90 minutes west of Santa Rosa, Timber Cove Inn is for those who love the ocean, want peace and relaxation on vacation, and don’t want to sacrifice the comforts of home, such as free Wifi.
