California Fairs are stealing the show this weekend. There are at least 7 county fairs we’ve counted, though probably a whole lot more. They span the state, providing carnival thrills, live music shows, local talent contests, livestock, baby animals, petting zoos, produce, and new-fangled products that slice, dice and mesmerize audiences with their amazing innovations. Watch exotic birds, plants, wild cats, jumping dogs, moo-ing cows, baaaa-ing sheep, and oinking pigs. Enter a pig calling contest or watch a pig race. Who loves the fair? Babies, kids, teens, adults, seniors, singles, families, friends…who doesn’t love the fair?
