Sandcastles Festivals, No Limit to Fun!

From California’s wind-swept desert dunes to its sun-kissed beaches, it’s amazing just how fascinated all ages of people are with sand! There are plenty of sand events to celebrate the public’s fascination with this natural resource that you’ll find along 1,000 miles of coast. This weekend the Long Beach Sandcastle Contest takes place on Granada Beach at Alfredo’s. There are adult categories, and a special sand pit for the toddlers to build their very own creations–no competition necessary.
