They say the party never ends in California, and no time of year is this more true than Fall and Winter. As we wrap up Halloween tomorrow with haunted theme parks, Halloween trick or treat, and parties galore, don’t put away the pumpkins just yet. Restaurants have already rolled out the pumpkin treats (try The Cheesecake Factory pumpkin cheesecake through the holidays,) , and the malls have begun setting up their Christmas displays. Eeegads! It’s enough excitement to make you scream! Opening November 1 is the outdoor ice rink at Irvine Spectrum, one of dozens of holiday rinks throughout California. Possibly the earliest tree lighting ceremony in California is held at their sister mall, Fashion Island, lighting the nation’s tallest mall Christmas tree in two short weeks on November 13, 2012. But before you jump ahead and start your holiday shopping, take time on November 11 to celebrate the veterans on Veteran’s Day.
