Are Ya Wearin’ the Plaid, Lad?

Do you know how many Saint Patrick’s Day Parades are happening today in California? No, we don’t know either. But there are a few, for sure. Pictured left to right are Hermosa Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Murphys St. Patrick’s Day Parade, San Diego’s St.Patty’s Day Parade, and right two photos were taken at Dublin (California) St. Patrick’s Day Parade. All four of these parades, plus San Francisco St. Patrick’s Day Parade are happening on Saturday, March 16, 2013. Plaid is king today, as well as bagpipes, knee socks, Tam ‘O Shanters, and those big purses (sporran) adorned with flowing horsehair and tassels. Happy Day Before St. Patrick’s Day!
