El Segundo, California toy manufacturer, Mattel, took the California beach girl, Barbie, on a trip around the globe as part of the unveiling and promo for a Dreamhouse product. She travelled to New York, Paris and the Australian Outback, fictionally looking for a new home. But alas, as her travels come to an end, she’s decided to stick it out in her beloved Malibu where the weather is good, friends are plentiful, and her cool pink beach house is move-in ready.
