Pictured is Newport Beach, Calif. on Thursday, April 5, 2012. While the traffic flow moves fairly well, California’s beach boardwalks are busy this week and next. You can tell Europeans when you pass them with that look of horror in their eyes. They are accustomed to walking on the other side of the path and thus, have bicycles and people heading straight toward them.
Recommendation: Look over your shoulder before you walk across the lanes of a beach path or strand. If you are walking with a dog at the beaches that allow them, watch for your dog’s safety, as well. Enjoy perfect weather this weekend. It is expected to hit the 80s in Southern California and be in the 70s on the Central Coast to Bay Area! We love California!
