Capitola by the Sea annual Begonia Festival is taking shape and looking fantastic. Held on Labor Day Weekend August 30-September 2, 2013, this one-of-a-kind festival isn’t like the Rose Parade in which flowers must be shipped to decorate the floats. Capitola Begonia participants actually grow their own flowers in a community field, then decorate their boat floats with them.
