Every year Blue Ox Mill in Eureka pays homage to craftsmanship that makes America great. With a learning center, education program, and historic site containing antique relics and machines from the woodworking industry comes a radio station, a school to teach youth & veterans how to make things (lost arts) and an old printing press where news is published, all under the direction of the founder, Eric Hollenbeck.
Highly sought after in antiques and old home restoration, Hollenbeck willingly shares his passion with the public and mentors youth through a partnership with the local school district. The public can tour the facility when you visit Eureka, but don’t miss the special May Day Living History & Artisan Faire on May 3, 2014. Eclectic bands such as Compost Mountain Boys and Striped Pig Stringband are on hand to perform .
