California Bubble Shows and Bubble Bummers

In New York City you can see the Off Broadway Gazillion Bubble Show–tickets are available and easy to get. If you happen to set your sights on the fabulous Bay Area bubble experience where Cirque du Soleil meets giant bubbles however, the The Underwater Bubble Show is cancelled. It’s a real bubble bummer.

Please say it ain’t so…Santa Clara County Department of Public Health has requested suspension of events with greater than 50 people in attendance due to coronavirus concerns. They don’t want to burst your bubble, but the Oshman Family JCC’s Taube Koret Campus for Jewish Life in Palo Alto decided to pull the plug on this underwater adventure since they were expecting well over 50 kids and adults in the audience.

Bubble shows aren’t that easy to come by in California, but there still are several options. The Amazing Bubble Show at Rhythmix Cultural Works combines comedy and artistry with audience participation and enough spellbinding bubble tricks to keep both kids and adults mesmerized on Saturday, March 28, 2020.

Thrilling audiences around the world for nearly 30 years with the art, magic, science and fun of bubbles, the Amazing Bubble Man (a.k.a. Louis Pearl) explores the breath-taking dynamics of bubbles.

Another bubble show is Discovery Cube’s Bubblefest XXIV, March 26-April 12, 2020. The return event welcomes a popular stage presence who’s graced numerous annual shows. Deni Yang, the son of Fan Yang who created Gazillion Bubble Show, can be seen on stage along sister Melody, in Santa Ana.
