Are California Casinos Taking Big Bite Out of Nevada Gaming Action?

My neighbor is off to yet another casino and won’t be home for several days. She’s gotta’ go at least once a month when the urge bites to hop into her car and drive to her favorites–Pala, Pechanga, Morongo, Harrah’s Rincon, Viejas and sometimes Chumash. She’s retired and this monthly activity brings her so much joy! She says (with a wink) that she has to go there to color her graying hair. Having immigrated from China as a child, this lady’s grown children have high-powered jobs, and they make sure their mother always has enough money to go to the casinos. The monthly expense is budgeted. Does my neighbor ever go to Las Vegas? Maybe once every 3 or 4 years.
