Pacific Fine Arts Festivals (PFAF), which produces around 20 art shows and festivals each year in California and has been doing so since 1980, just released its 2012 roster that includes a variety of two- and three-day festivals taking place from March to October. The events usually contain an art element, but also feature bands, dancing, food, vendor booths often with henna tattoos or face painting for kids, and a variety of family-oriented things to see and do at Golden State’s most picturesque venues. All of the events feature dazzling fine arts and crafts and offer the unique opportunity to meet the artisans.
Talents from across the nation, including many award winners in the mediums of painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, ceramics and mixed media sign up to participate in these popular, annual events. Now that this year’s schedule is released, you can begin making plans either to apply for a spot, or to attend and enjoy the fun. Many are free. See full details of events!
