California Gone to the Dogs, Ruff Life!

You DO have your pet’s Halloween costume, don’t you? You’re going to need it this week and next as the parties come on long and strong. In my city of less than 200,000 people, there must be a lot of dogs because the dog costume parties outnumber the human costume parties this weekend. No fair! And nearby in Belmont Shore there’s the record-breaking, biggest dog costume parade in the world, they say. The Haute Dog Parade takes place on Sunday, Oct. 27…costumes a must! Here’s a reminder of some of the Howl-oween parades and costume contests taking place in California. If you think you have it rough, imagine the pressure that your dog must face! It’s a “ruff” life!
