California Kids Fishing Derbies

Kids are invited to dress in coveralls, an old straw hat and learn how to place a slimy, wiggly worm on a hook. Fishing contests and clinics for youth usually have volunteers on hand to teach first timers how to bait a hook, cast a line and hopefully catch something good.
