It’s fun being a kid when there’s a museum around the bend designed just for you. Though children aren’t limited to the many museums in California that have “kids” in their name, there are some designed specifically for them. We’ve listed many but are still adding more. Of course kids can also explore wonderful museums of learning such as the International Printing Museum in Carson, Pez Museum in Burlingame, California Surf Museum in Oceanside or National Yo-Yo Museum in Chico. California is a great place to live or visit if you have kids. Some of these museums invited adults, and San Luis Obispo Children’s Museum actually offers an adult tour day for big kids only!
