Piers are icons and top tourist attractions that beckon visitors and locals to take a stroll, breathe Pacific Ocean air and be entertained for a while. From free fishing to dining, sipping cocktails, and shopping for souvenir gifts, there’s no more refreshing place to experience the coast than a fantastic California pier — the longer, the better!

- 1. Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf 2,745 feet
- 2. Ocean Beach Pier San Diego 1,971 feet
- 3. Stearn’s Wharf Santa Barbara 1,950 feet
- 4. Oceanside Pier 1,942 feet
- 5. Huntington Beach Pier 1,856 feet
- 6. Seal Beach Pier 1,835 feet (end of pier destroyed in fire so it is currently shorter)
- 7. Avila Beach Pier 1,685 feet
- 8. Ventura County Pier 1,620 feet
- 9. Imperial Beach Pier 1,491 feet
- 10. Goleta Pier 1,450 feet
