Pride is a noun and a verb — you can have pride or pride yourself on being the best tennis player, or whatever. In the LGBTQIA (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex or asexual) Community, PRIDE is associated with festivals, parades and events produced by and for community members, public invited.
What is the best PRIDE Festival in California? West Hollywood, Long Beach, San Diego, Palm Springs and San Francisco offer large scale festivals and parades. Smaller events with large doses of enthusiasm celebrate PRIDE in Santa Cruz, Oakland, Davis, Santa Ana, Fresno, Sacramento, San Luis Obispo, Oceanside, Chula Vista, Ventura, Eureka and Laguna Beach.
