In March each year the Irish steal the show with their annual St. Patrick’s Day celebrations and events. However, there’s something about the image of guys in kilts that women just can’t shake. The annual Scottish festivals and events prove that there are some great Scots in California and not too many with knobby knees. Come on out and watch them really make their moves as they throw heavy objects as far as the eye can see during Highland style games. Cities where you’ll find Scottish celebrations in 2013 include Watsonville, Costa Mesa, Bakersfield, Fremont, Grass Valley, San Francisco and San Diego.
