Alameda and other California cities hosting Egg Hunts this past weekend may have been rained out. Some had cancellation policies that provided for alternate dates such as April 7. According to the Alameda City website, they have rescheduled their egg hunt for April 7, rain or shine.
Likewise, it’s a go for this weekend’s big events. Hundreds of egg hunts are taking place on April 7 & 8, 2012. Most egg hunts include an Easter Bunny kids and adults can meet. The majority of these egg hunts are hosted by cities, communities and municipalities for the enjoyment of residents and tourists. Churches and hotels with restaurants are also offering egg hunts if you can’t find a city sponsored event. Beyond the hunts, highlights include an Easter Parade on Union Street in San Francisco and bunny train rides for kids at themed attractions.
