SACRAMENTO, CALIF. — If you’re thinking of heading to the California Capitol Tree Lighting Ceremony you may not get in if you’re not on the RSVP list. While the event was scheduled to take place today, Dec. 2, 2014, outdoors, it has been moved to the Capitol Building Rotunda. Less space means less people to get in for the ceremony. Gov. Jerry Brown and First Lady Anne Gust Brown are hosting the 83rd annual Capitol Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5 p.m. and with predictions of rain, have decided not to take any chances about getting wet.
