In 4 weeks one of California’s most favorite holiday festivities begin lighting up waterways. In 2019 the first and second weekends of December will see nearly all the boat parades taking place, with the exception of the fabulous five day extravaganza, Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade happening December 18-22.

Here’s a sampling of some of the fun:

• Dana Point Harbor’s Boat Parade of Lights this year sports the theme: Tiki Holiday!
• Discovery Bay Lighted Boat Parade traditional theme: Winter Wonderland.
• Huntington Beach’s Philharmonic Society Parade theme (always tied to music): Rock & Roll Fantasy!
• Long Beach Parade of 1000 Lights theme: Deck the Hulls.

Californians & guests are in for some imaginative decor, music and interactive displays, you’ll surely not want to miss. These awesome, annual events show boaters and yachtsmen can capably deck their hulls and bows with holly–plus thousands of lights!
