Clown School
There’s one in a every family–you know the type. Sometimes you wish they’d straighten up and act normal but that never seems to happen. In fact there’s a place for people who are always clowning around. The Clown School in Los Angeles is holding a spring intensive course open to “all-comers” emphasizing clown character, archetypes, and costume. Taught by “two big kids” in the tradition of Jacques Lecoq, Philippe Gaulier, Bill Irwin and David Shiner, they seek to liberate the creative spirit from the doldrums of everyday life.
