Egg Hunts are Cool in Pools

You don’t usually see the Easter Bunny getting its fur wet, but how did it hide eggs in a pool? This is just one of life’s mysteries that may never be solved. However, the concept is totally cool and it’s actually caught on at some municipal events in California.

The hunt, itself, is often the same but the activities surrounding it can vary from city to city. In Fort Bragg, for instance, they’re offering a Rubber Duck Race down the Lazy River after Easter Egg Aquatic Pool Splash.

In San Clemente they’re offering a 3-in-1 combo called Spring Spectacular which includes Springtacular, Camp Palooza and Splashtacular Pool Party. While bunnies don’t typically swim, last year the Snorkel Bunny came.

In Vacaville they gave the pool egg hunt up back in 2018, but in 2019 they introduced something even more popular — The Dog Egg Hunt! (Don’t they know dogs chase bunnies?)

Places such as City of Sacramento is back in the swim with yet another year of aquatic fun. Head for Pannell Meadowview Pool for their Underwater Egg Hunt.

El Segundo has a great parks & rec department for a city of under 25,000 residents. In 2019 they officially opened their new, $13.8 million El Segundo Wiseburn Aquatics Center which includes $6 million in private sponsorships and public fundraising. Perhaps that’s why they embrace events such as Underwater Eggstravaganza.

From a fantastic Pleasant Hill Underwater Egg Hunt to the Aqua Bunny’s arrival (hops into El Dorado Hills Community Pool to make a big splash each Spring) for El Dorado Hills Aqua Egg Hunt, California is cool and so are its awesome events that celebrate spring, water, swimming, and toy eggs in pools.
