Beautiful California Has Dirtiest Cities in Nation
When you consider that California has the 5 most polluted cities in the U.S. it should come as no surprise that we also have 6 of the top 10 dirtiest cities, as measured by the combination of air and water quality (pollution rankings only take into account air.) This info hits home every time you learn that there are schools in the Central Valley where kids can’t drink from the municipal water flowing freely through drinking fountains. Due to the extensive use of chemicals such as fertilizers for agriculture, some of California’s water supplies can make people sick! A principle at one school laments that the money being spent on bottled water for the kids could provide additional learning resources if the water was fit to drink–but it’s not. Top on the list of dirtiest cities in America is Fresno, Calif. Here’s the List!
