The Eternal Tree House is a tourist attraction located on the Northern California redwood coast in Redcrest. The one-time giant of nature was felled in the early 1900’s by loggers and became fence rails, shakes, and railway ties. The remaining stump contained a huge cavern caused by fire centuries ago and had been used first by Indians and later trappers, hunters, travelers and their livestock for shelter. Eternal Tree House living tree with a 20′ room inside is estimated to be more than 2,500 years old!
