Kicking Off Spring with an Edge at Fantasy Faires

The first weekend in March brought some rain and plenty of high spirits to Auburn where Kingdom of Harron’s 2nd Annual Edge of Spring – Celtic Fantasy Fair drew crowds of merry-makers. For locals who may remember Cain’s Crossing, a Renaissance Faire that saw its demise approx. eight years ago in Auburn, this Celtic celebration fills the void that locals and travelers to the foothills of the Sierras missed for quite some time. It’s just the start of a the Rennaisance Season in California with many festivals to celebrate life’s simpler times and simple pleasures. Are you game?
