• LONG BEACH: Original Long Beach Lobster Festival Sept.7-9. This is the only mega-lobster festival this year in Southern California. If you love lobster, head for Rainbow Lagoon park.
• WOODLAND: Crawfish & Catfish Festival Sept.8-9 at Yolo County Fairgrounds. Louisiana Sue’s got an all star line up of food — boiled, fried or stewed crawfish, crawfish sushi, fried catfish, alligator fried and roasted, frog leg, turkey legs, sausages and tri tip… oh my!
