California is the boat capital of the U.S. It has huge international ports, the largest municipal marina in the nation and thousands of miles of waterways that include the Pacific Ocean and the Sac Delta. There are many forms of boating entertainment and sports ranging from speedboat racing in the Delta to sportfishing, yacht racing, Pacific Ocean pleasure cruises on ocean liners, whale watching, touring the huge military vessels and marine museums, houseboating, kayaking, sailboat racing…the list goes on and on.
