The largest nationally recognized gingerbread structure competition on the West Coast showcasing creations by San Diego’s leading chefs, artists and designers, features gingerbread that you may never have seen before. From a fire-breathing dragon to the re-construction of the Gaslamp Quarter made out of edible cakes, cookies, and sweets, you never know what kind of eye candy each year’s batch of gingerbread structures will offer. The grand event where Gingerbread structure viewing takes place (this year at the Grand Del Mar resort) requires purchasing a ticket.
