Knott’s Berry Farm Halloween Comes in 2 Ages

Published on: September 26, 2012

Welcome to California, home to hundreds of Halloween events in cities throughout the state. If you’re a cute, little kid or have one, you don’t need to be horrified by creepy monsters. Life is scary enough. For you there’s Camp Snoopy, a daytime non-scare celebration of Halloween cheer rather than fear. Families can go see “The Camp” on weekends October 6-28, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to enjoy a costume contest, a live show, kid-friendly mazes, storytelling, and trick-or-treat stations.

For the older crowd seeking a thrill or 1,000 scares, Knott’s Berry Farm is the leader in Halloween haunts in California. Knott’s Scary Farm attraction turned 40 this year in 2012. Happy Birthday! A cast of over 1,000 actors (mostly ordinary people with exceptional scream skills) take the stage when the lights are out to create an imaginary world in themed areas that include Day of the Dead, Uncle Bobo’s Big Top of the Bizarre with clown carnage, Gypsy Camp, Doll Factory which is home to a Marionette Murderer, and intriguing twists and turns!  For more general event information on Halloween Haunt, call the Haunt Line at (714) 220-5200 or  see  knotts.com
